Craig Orndorff is the Host of Weekend in the Country. He produces the show from his life-long home in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
In 1987, Craig got his first job in radio and he's been on the air every since. He is a sports announcer, doing play-by-play for high school and college athletics through his local sports broadcasting company, Valley Sports Radio.
Along with Weekend in the Country, he also hosts Seems Like Old Times--another nationally syndicated program which highlights big bands, traditional pop, standards and jazz.
His career has spanned media: voice-overs, newspaper reporter, photographer and columnist, and televicsion anchor, reporter and even a fill-in weatherman.
